It’s been a brilliant year for long-time Air Arms shooter Tony Fouracres, who has wrapped up 2025 with an impressive seven trophies to his name. Using his trusted XTi-50, Tony has shown exactly what steady skill, experience, and reliable kit can achieve.
Back-to-Back WAFTA Championship Titles
Among his achievements, Tony secured two back-to-back championship victories, winning the WAFTA Open Champion title in both the Summer and Winter Series in 2024 and repeating the feat in 2025. Retaining both titles across two consecutive years is no small thing, and highlights Tony’s consistency, precision, and mastery of the sport.
Trusting the XTi-50 in All Conditions
Tony credits much of his success to his XTi-50 – a rifle he describes as “ever faithful and truly consistent” throughout every competition.
“The rifle is amazing and with the right pellets, holds its accuracy in all weather conditions, both in high or low temperatures and come rain or shine. You can totally rely on the XTi-50 to shoot superbly well and knock over those targets.”

With his 72nd birthday approaching early in 2026, Tony shows no signs of slowing down. Despite dealing with osteoarthritis throughout his body, his passion for the sport remains stronger than ever.
