17 October 2019  |  Air Arms

On Air Arms TV we are behind the scenes at day one of the World Field Target Championships 2019 with some access-all-areas interviews with key competitors.

Welcome to the biggest ever World Field Target Championships! Now, in the competition’s 35th and the sport’s 40th year, it is once again England’s turn to host the event before it tours the world again for what could be decades before it returns. This presents perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity for everyone involved in the sport to celebrate 40 years of competition, for UK shooters to compete on home soil, for international visitors to see the birthplace of the sport and for everyone to engage with the entire world of Field Target.

Leading airgun brand Air Arms takes us behind-the-scenes of the hugely popular competition to see how the first day of the five day competition unfolds with access-all-areas interviews with competitors such as Hector Media from Team USA and Mark Bassett from Team Wales.

Primarily used for signing-in and zeroing their state-of-the-art airgun, the first day is a chance for teams to walk the three 50-shot courses. Held on a 160-acre site in the West Midlands, this year’s competition has attracted a record number of competitors – a staggering 450 from all four corners of the globe.
