Air Arms issues warning over rejected bags

2 Comments19 March 2019  |  Air Arms

Air Arms is alerting the trade to a rogue consignment of Air Arms gunbags that are leaking onto the market.

The bags were rejected by the firm for being of extremely poor quality and not fit for purpose – and were supposed to have been destroyed. Now it would appear that they were not destroyed and attempts are being made to resell them into the UK market.

Claire West, managing director of the Air Arms: “The original consignment was rejected by Air Arms three years ago and these products should never be on the market.”

Claire is keen to point out that the faulty consignment is very poorly finished and the handles on the bag and the zips are not fit for purpose.

“The bags carry our logo and are our intellectual property. We are not sure how they’ve managed to re-enter the market and we are now looking at taking legal action against the vendors.”
