Paul Kelly

Air Arms Ambassador

Background

I took up the sport of Air Rifle Shooting towards the end of 2012, having been heavily involved in Field Archery for almost 30 years. Having won numerous National, European and World Archery titles, I had heard about Hunter Field Target and wanted to have a go for myself. After dusting off my Springer, which I’d had for 7 years and hadn’t even had a full tin of pellets through it! I joined the Rivington Riflemen.

At a club night I was offered a go with a Precharged Pneumatic (PCP) and having tried it thought ‘I have to get myself one of these!’ and bought an Air Arms S400. After completing my first HFT National Series in 2013, I bought the Air Arms FTP900 and still use this gun today.

Tips for Fellow Shooters

  • I strongly believe that the key to success is to have well-maintained and reliable equipment, which is why I love my Air Arms FTP900.

  • I really enjoy HFT and it’s the people involved that makes HFT what it is – so make the most of the people around you.
