The North East Field Target Association (NEFTA) Classic is one of the biggest events in the field target calendar. The Air Arms Field Target team put on incredible shooting performances, finishing the weekend with an impressive collection of trophies.
Emley Moor Field Target Club in Yorkshire played host to talented shooters from across globe for a challenging two-day tournament. Top honours went to Dorian ‘Doz’ Falconer who scored a total of 76 points in the ‘AA’ Class. This score was combined with Dorian’s 67 points in the Silhouette Class, which totalled for the highest score of the competition, as a result crowned him the overall champion of the NEFTA Classic.
More success came in the ‘AA’ Class as Air Arms Field Target Team Captain, James Osborne took home 3rd place with 139 points, narrowly missing out on 2nd by a single point. The collection of silverware didn’t end there for Team Air Arms. Dylan Varney dominated the ‘A’ Class with 141 points, well ahead of 2nd place. James head not only won the Silhouette Championship, but he also finished with 133 points which was enough to hold 2nd place in the ‘A’ Class.

This year failed to disappoint, as an amazing number of competitors were ready for a fantastic weekend. Well done to all the winners and everyone who took part in this great competition.”
