The 4th March 2018 saw talented FT, HFT and SFT shooters gather at the Anston Field Target Club ready to compete in another year of action packed target shooting – The Paul James British Recoiling Championship 2018.
The event is one of the largest recoiling competitions in the world, which this year saw over 100 talented air rifle enthusiasts ready to compete for some top prizes.
Air Arms generously donated a number of goodie bags that would be handed out to winners at the end of the day.
The weather may have been poor on the day, but that didn’t stop some amazing scores being registered. Air Arms shooter Phil Hollis finished in 2nd place with an impressive score of 37/40 points using his Air Arms TX200.
Martin Calpin, event organizer commented: “Every year we return to where the sport started and collect together the largest gathering of springer shooters in the World to raise money for charity. With Air Arms help we raised £2,567.94 on the day and £15,000 in total for The Prince Of Wales Hospice. Air Arms have supported us from the start and it’s so rewarding to see the community go together for such a great cause.”
