It was yet another successful year for the Air Arms RSN10 Memorial Open Cup Challenge. Talented competitors from all around the country gathered at Northall Farm, Fletching, East Sussex on the 3rd September.
With some great prizes up for grabs, everyone was ready for a day of action packed air rifle shooting.
Skilled shooters gave it their all throughout the day in a bid to finish top of the leader board. Richard Wood finished in 1st place with 93 points. Roger Dibbens secured 2nd place and Steve Edmonson finished in 3rd.
In the Recoil Class, Paul Burt snatched 1st place with a one-point lead – finishing with a score of 86.
The 2015.22 class winner, Edward Tandi, re-captured the title after scoring 75 points.
This was the second year of the veteran class and Team Air Arms member, Mike Burgess, took home the title once again.
The ladies put on a great shooting show as Stephanie Isaac took the top spot with 76 points.
The next generation of air rifle shooters were on top form; George Danvers took home 1st place in the Junior 14-16 category. Whereas, in the Junior 9-13 class, Connor Leonard once again come out on top.
It was a lucky day for Jack Houghton, who walked away with an Air Arms HFT500 raffle prize.
Jon Houghton, Mark Hurley, Nick Byrne, Nigel Carter, Peter Knight, Andy Yates, Conner Leonard, Roger Dibbens, Rick Bowell and Graham Cargen all finished the day with a raffle prize.
The RSN10 Memorial Open Cup Challenge proved to be another successful event for the Air Arms Team, topping what has already been a successful year out in the field.
