The UKAHFT National Series is now well underway as rounds 3 & 4 took place on the 22nd & 23rd July 2017 at MAD. With a total of nine rounds for competitors to compete in throughout the year, shooters are now looking to give some strong performances and claim their spots on the leader-board table.
With back-to-back days of competing, HFT enthusiasts were eager to put on another incredible shooting showcase.
At end of round 3 several Air Arms shooters captured prime spots on the leaders table. Mark scored 56 points and secured 1st place in Open Class. Megan Reed put on an impressive shooting showcase scoring 47 and winning 1st place in the Junior 9-13 class. Ken Pothacary was able to secure 1st place in the Veteran class with 51 points. Team Air Arms put on some great shooting in the recoiling class as Gary Chillingworth took 1st place
After such an incredible performance, Air Arms finished round 3 with the Manufacturers award. A great day was had by all!
More success came to team Air Arms on the Sunday during round 4 as Megan Reed once again finished in 1st place in the Junior 9-13. Gary Chillingworth put on back-to-back impressive performances and won the 1st trophy for the recoiling class. After an intense shoot off, Mike Burgess finished top of the group in Veterans class.
