Air Arms are delighted to announce its support to the Lincolnshire Smallbore Rifle Association and have teamed up to re-ignite the ancient old sport of Bell Target Shooting.
Dave Carter of the Lincolnshire Smallbore Rifle Association has been at the forefront of introducing Bell Target to the county of Lincolnshire. Starting out as a ‘Test Pilot’ in some of the counties finest public establishments, the attraction of Bell Target and the dream of a league proved all too popular and is growing into a great success.
Now armed with an MPR Sporter, S200 and mountains of pellets donated by Air Arms along with a handsome cheque kindly given by the Northern Shooting Show; Dave’s once dream league is now becoming a reality.
Air Arms were keen to support the new venture as soon as they heard about it.
Claire West, MD of Air Arms said, “Air Arms are very pro-active in promoting the positive sides of airgun shooting and are always keen to promote our sport when and where we can and be associated with great initiatives such as this. We understand the importance of attracting new comers in to our sport if we wish our industry to grow and continue to be successful. In a world that is more and more computer driven, people who have a passion such as Dave and his team should be supported by the industry it serves.”
Paul Whitelam of the Northern Shooting Show said, “ It really is great to see the faces of new shooters who get to have a shooting experience in this way and NSS were keen to support the Bell Target initiative ever since it was announced and have promised ongoing support as it rolls out.”
The league will commence this September in Lincolnshire. You can also catch up with Air Arms and the Lincolnshire Smallbore Rifle Association at the Northern Shooting Show on the 6th & 7th May 2017.
