The World Hunter Field Target Championship took place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend at the Kelmarsh Country Show. Air Arms shooters were out in force during the competition, incredibly over a third of competitors registered as shooting an Air Arms rifle.
The competition is made up of several classes, including Open, Junior, Ladies and Veterans as well as two team classes.
The Air Arms HFT Team put on an incredible performance of airgun shooting skills.
Air Arms put on a strong shooting showcase in the Open Class. Vince Holland scored 114 and finished in 2nd, Ian Millward secured 6th place, Gavyn Jones and Andrew Watkins both scored 110 points claiming the 8th and 9th positions. Air Arms ambassador, Paul Kelly ended the weekend with 110 points and the 11th spot.
Mike Burgess took home the 1st place trophy in the Veteran Class.
Ewan Pantling scored 97 points and finished 2nd place in the Junior Class.
Jill Cochrane won 3rd place with a great score of 103 over the two-day event.
Gary Chillingworth finished in 3rd placed in the Recoiling Class.
Team Air Arms came in 2nd in the Manufacturers Title with an impressive score of 445.
Air Arms Managing Director, Claire West, stopped by the Kelmarsh Country Show to wish the team good luck in the competition.
