S400

S400 and S410 Rifles.

The S400 and S410 are a range of pre-charge pneumatics. The models come in a variety of styles and powers.

The S400 and S410 rifles are a range of sporting guns in single (S400) and ten shot (S410) formats. Both models are bolt action rifles available in carbine, classic and FAC sizes with 3 stock options beech, walnut and a walnut thumbhole.

The legal limit for an air rifle in the UK is 12ftlb.

All the models in the S400/S410 range are available in right and left handed formats and all stock options.

All the standard rifles are set at the UK legal limit of 12ftlb. (16joules) but high power versions are available. See the table at the bottom of the page.

The Carbine being only 35" (890mm) long makes it the perfect hunting tool for wooded areas or shooting from a vehicle, giving 60 shots in .177 (4.5mm) and 80 shots in .22 (5.5mm) there is plenty of shot capacity for a hunting session.

The S410 carbine in the thumbhole walnut stock with optional silencer in an impressive looking rifle and the beauty is not skin deep.

If 80 shots (in .22) is not enough for your application then then classic length model may be the gun for you. Measuring 39" (990mm) it shot capacity is 80 in .177 (4.5mm) and up to 100 in .22 (5.5mm).

The S410 Classic shown here in the walnut stock in left hand is a stunning full length rifle. Not noticeable heavier than the carbine but offering 20 more shots per charge.

The fac versions of these guns take the power up a notch. Starting with the carbine and classic, the power achieved is 25ftlb or 35 joules and will return 20 to 25 shots.The Xtra will return 30-35 shots and 30-35ftlb (41-47joules).

The S410 Xtra is the highest powered gun in the Air Arms range. Producing 28-30ftlb (38-40joules) in .22 there is plenty of power for most air rifle applications. Depending on the pellet used velocities of 1000ft/sec in .22 (5.5mm) and 1100ft/sec in .177 (4.5mm).

The latest addition to the S410 family in the TDR which is a take down version of the S410 the butt stock removes and the moderator has a knurled screw so the gun can be broken down into a small unit that can be carried easily in a back pack or small case.

The concept of the TDR is that it can be taken down and put into a small case making it very easy to carry and not obviously a gun. This is useful if you have to carry your guns in public to get to your shooting ground.

It takes just a few moments to assemble and you have your full power hunting rifle ready. In the cheek piece there are 2 magazine housing clips to hold magazines ready to swap over for extra quick loading.

The pre-charged pneumatic voted Airgun of the year in 2000 and 2002. The S400/410 incorporates all of the best features from the S300/310 but in a new package with improvements that will keep this rifle at the top of its class.

The S410 is the multi shot version of the S400 and comes with a 10 shot magazine which indexes its self each time the rifle is cocked to fire. This alleviates the need to insert a pellet between shots. Spare magazines are available and can be swapped very quickly with minimal effort very useful in a hunting situation.
