Apart from our range of pellets, Air Arms products are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom using the best available materials and most advanced CNC equipment. The parent company, NSP Engineering Ltd, is a precision engineering company established over 30 years ago.

NSP has a wide range of design and development experience and apart from making air rifles and accessories, has a broad customer base providing many engineering services.

Air rifles have been in constant manufacture since the mid 1970's, all have been designed with the cooperation of many well respected shooters, some of which are also accomplished engineers in their own right.

It would not be an overstatement to say that without the help of these people and the suggestions from our customers and some of our critics, Air Arms would not be in the respected position it is today.
The Assembly Workshop.
The gun assembly and test area.
The workshop is split into cells where each rifle is built individually from start to finish, this includes set-up and velocity testing. Each cell is equipped with its own assembly and test equipment including a precision chronograph.

We have found this to be the best assembly method because it installs a sense of responsibility and pride for in the final product.

The Machine Shop.
Air Arms have always invested in the latest technology and the most recent acquisition is a multi pallet FMS that can run under fully automated control 24 hours per day. The Rennishaw probing facility enables constant monitoring of the production sequence, including positional accuracy and tool breakage detection.

Virtually all Air Arms components are made on cnc machines. Not shown on this page are cnc lathes that have magazine fed material loading systems that also enable continuous running and a Laser profiling machine that produces precision parts from sheet materials.
